Job Description
Nurse - Cardiac Care
Schedule
Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, with rotating weekend requirements as needed.
Assignment Details
Patient to nurse ratios are 1:4. Float requirement is included. Block scheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements

• 2 years of cardiovascular experience preferred (will consider candidates with 1+ years).
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH is required; CPI preferred.
• Allow first-time travelers; local travelers are also welcomed.

Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care in a cardiac stepdown unit.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on care procedures and health management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
