We value relationships and invest in our employees.Benefits Package: Company Paid!Medical, Dental, Prescription & Vision BenefitsLife, AD&D, and LTD insurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysMD Live & TriaHealthCompany-Matched 401(k) and IRA Retirement SavingsPer-Diem paid when overnight travel is requiredRequirementsCollege Education preferred, although not required.Experience in any of the following fields is a plus: CAT5, Telecommunications, Fiber, Construction, or Structure Cabling IT is a plus.Project Management experience in Construction, Technology, or related fields is helpful.At least 2 years' experience managing projects.Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro and SharePoint preferred.Proficient with the use of personal computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.Ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to work in a strong cross-functional team.Experience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications and construction take-offs is helpfulMust type at least 40 WPMResponsibilitiesManage daily operational tasks.Provide logistical project support.Create and maintain project files.Manage project scheduling and billing.Perform a variety of administrative permit functions.Assist team in data collections or field verifications including code calls and other items as needed.Coordinate and manage PO and invoices for permits and inspections.Organize, update, and maintain necessary documentation.Track permits through the permitting process, beginning with application acceptance, plan review, inspections, and permit closure.Gather and submit all specified plans and applications that a local building department might require, in various regions of the U.S.Interact with Project Managers, city staff, and other government agencies to coordinate the city or county permitting requirements and processes.Gather additional information requested, resolve permitting issues, and advise Project Managers of permit decisions.Manage and facilitate the issuance of building permits from various municipalities in a timely and efficient manner.Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time within a given time frame.Participate in and implement process improvement activities/tasks to improve the program team's efficiency.Manage the process of sourcing, evaluating, and estimating selected bid opportunities.Maintain a high standard of quality and professionalism.Manage & delegate through team resources.Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the Company and OSHA.$65 - $80 a yearWachter is a family-owned company since 1930 and we see each employee as a critical piece of the Wachter Family.
