CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

Job Overview:
PRATT Industries is seeking a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts for our trailer manufacturing process. As a CNC Operator at PRATT, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production and contributing to our commitment to innovation and excellence in trailer manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
Set up CNC machines, load materials, and ensure machine calibration.
Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure conformity with specifications.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including materials used, quantities produced, and any issues encountered during the process.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to keep operations running smoothly.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC operation preferred.
Proven experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of CNC machine setup, programming, and operation.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
