Restaurant Bartender (Fulltime & Seasonal)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Bartender delivers exceptional beverage service by preparing handcrafted cocktails, serving premium wines and spirits, and creating memorable guest experiences. This role combines expert beverage knowledge with refined hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and professionalism.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to established recipes and service standards.
Provide attentive, personalized service and recommend beverages and pairings to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain knowledge of the beverage program, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and seasonal offerings.
Ensure the bar is clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready throughout each shift.
Monitor alcohol consumption and practice responsible beverage service in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Process guest payments accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
Work collaboratively with service and culinary teams to ensure timely, seamless guest service.
Complete opening, closing, inventory, and side-work responsibilities.
Maintain all health, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
QUALIFICATIONS (Select all that Apply):

• 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale or fine dining environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverage service standards.
• Strong communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Previous restaurant experience required; fine dining experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, including cases, glassware, and bar supplies.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, stooping, and repetitive hand movements while preparing beverages and stocking the bar.
Ability to safely operate bar equipment and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
