Machine Minder (2nd Shift)

Machine Operator

The Machine Operator will set up and operate conventional mills, lathes, and other machines using Lean and 5S methodologies to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.

Interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, work orders, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements

Inspect finished parts and record results

Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feeds for machining operations

Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes but is not limited to the ability to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the workstation ready for work at the start of the shift, and work mandatory overtime when necessary

Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

~ Computer Skills: Windows Operating System.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
