Houseperson - Full Time - Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a Housekeeper for our Long Term Care facility.

Schedule includes weekdays and an every other week-end and alternate holiday rotation. This will be a morning shift sheduled from 6:00am to 1:30pm/2:00pm. Full-Time - 71 hours per 2 week pay period.

About our community
Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.
Responsibilities
Cleans and vacuums common areas on a daily basis.
Cleans resident's rooms, including bathrooms and replenish supplies on a daily basis. Dusts vents, light fixtures, and doors. Wet/dry mop tile floors and vacuum carpets.
Cleans equipment and housekeeping room. Keeps housekeeping cart stocked with supplies. Replace vacuum bags and filters.
Demonstrates sensitivity to resident's needs and maintain a kind and respectful manner.
Perform all duties in a manner that is consistent with quality standards, infection control, and safety measures, which includes using Standard Precautions, at all times.
Qualifications
Have the ability to work independently and dependably to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas and resident living areas.
Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
