Administrative Professional / Bookkeeping

Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, customer service, and working in a small business environment where no two days are exactly the same.The Administrative Assistant will serve as one of the first points of contact for customers while also providing essential support with office administration and basic bookkeeping tasks. The responsibilities of this role will expand over time as the employee becomes familiar with our business operations and receives additional training.ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally and courteouslyOpen and manage customer service tickets within the company's tracking systemReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mailOpen and organize mail and assist with processing related paperworkMonitor office supply inventory and place orders when supplies need replenishmentEnter expense receipts and related information into the accounting systemPrepare and make electronic bank depositsMaintain accurate records and ensure information is entered correctlyAssist with general administrative tasks and special projects as neededTake on additional responsibilities as training is provided and business needs evolveQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious administrative or customer service experience is preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math skills and comfort working with numbersAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionProficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyDependable, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyPositive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the roleWhat We OfferOn-the-job training and opportunities to develop new skillsA supportive, team-oriented work environmentThe opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a small, locally owned businessA position with variety and increasing responsibility over timeIf you are organized, customer-focused, and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply!A background check may be required due to the financial responsibilities associated with this position.
