About Our Brand:

Southern Proper Hospitality Group is a growing multi-concept company that is seeking to hire passionate, creative, and experienced prep cooks to join the kitchen operations of our Gypsy Kitchen Restaurant located in Washington DC.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prep cooks do much of the preparation for the dishes that are served at the restaurant. Duties include:

Chopping vegetables, breaking down, cutting or grinding meat.

Weighing and mixing ingredients.

Washing and preparing vegetables.

Accurately storing prepped food for service.

What We Require of You:

Previous restaurant experience required

Ability to work in stressful, fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays

Culinary school training is a plus
