Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job in Columbus, Ohio Travel RN opportunity in Columbus, Ohio: support adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a specialized oncology and hematology setting. This 16-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced acute care nurse with strong PCU, telemetry, and infection prevention skills who is ready to make an impact in a collaborative hospital environment.

Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
Schedule Type: Variable based on unit needs
Float: May float to other MedSurg Oncology units
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Acute leukemia and hematology PCU
Minimum of 2 years of total acute care nursing experience
At least 1 year of recent PCU nursing experience required
Current acute care experience must be active and consistent within the last 12 months
Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
Epic charting experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology diagnoses
Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in rhythm, condition, and overall patient status
Support infection prevention protocols and fall prevention initiatives
Administer blood products, IV antibiotics, electrolytes, and related therapies
Perform feeding tube care, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood draws as needed
Collaborate with rapid response teams and interdisciplinary healthcare services
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic electronic health record system
Adapt to variable weekend scheduling and changing patient care needs
