The Team Leader - Janitor ensures custodial services are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with government contract requirements. This role provides daily leadership, supports employees with disabilities, and ensures quality, safety, and customer satisfaction across assigned areas.
Train employees on safety practices, equipment use, and Custodial SOPs.
Issue and control supplies and equipment; Inspect completed work, perform quality control inspections, and document results in CleanTelligent .
Complete Daily Work Reports and communicate with management and facility representatives.
Operate and perform preventive maintenance on floor care equipment.
Address employee or customer concerns and escalate as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE use, and contract requirements.
High School Diploma or GED required .
One (1) year of commercial custodial or maintenance experience.
Have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Didlake's automobile policy. Access to the work site for this position requires avalid Real ID.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning products, supplies, and floor care equipment.
Ability to safely operate and maintain electrical and battery-powered floor machines.
Ability to direct daily work activities and interact effectively with employees with disabilities.
