Planning and Estimator

Job Overview The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience by creating estimates, coordinating repair needs, and ensuring accurate communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities Document and update every customer interaction efficiently and accurately.

Provide customers with accurate, timely information and guide them through the repair process.

Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.

Adhere to WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.

Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.

Expose positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.

Understand all required insurance programs and procedures.

Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team as required.

Support team members when required.

Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required).

Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1‑year experience in automotive repair estimation.

Knowledge of repairs and OEM guidelines.

Basic computer skills.

Awareness of where to look for answers.

Compliance with DRP’s.

Additional Requirements Willingness to complete I‑CAR Training.

Valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated annual base salary: $49,000 - $70,000. Commissions and bonus opportunities may apply. Minimum wage guarantee for any unpaid hours.
