Claims Processor I (Insurance)

The Dollar Tree Risk Management Team doesn't simply work together; Our shared purpose is to mitigate risk of loss to the enterprise through insurance, claims management and consultative partnership with business owners. The Claims Assistant is a support role for the Risk Management team. The primary responsibility is to support the teamu2019s efforts for claims resolution and cost mitigation strategies. Principal Duties and Responsibilities - _Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance_ u00b7 Works independently onsite with a problem-solving positive attitude and maintains confidentiality of materials at all times. + Supports claims resolutions by collecting relevant business documents required. + Accesses and pulls video + Cross trains with other departmental activities as needed. + Serves as an engaged team member to actively identify and recommend additional opportunities for improvement of the total cost of risk. + Ensures highest level of customer service with internal and external business partners while providing timely support. + Maintains logs of data and/or reports related to claims support. u00b7 Assists department with triage of claim calls, emails and mail. u00b7 Assists in general department support and administrative duties, such as filing, sorting, etc. + Other duties and special projects as assigned by Risk Management leaders.
