Recognize patients' unique needs and create tailored therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional goals
Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals-OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses-to provide all-encompassing care
Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to encourage progress outside of the clinical setting
Track and Document Progress: Monitor patients' development and make necessary adjustments to ensure continued progress
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
A genuine passion for helping others achieve their highest level of independence
