Carpenter Foreman (Punchlist)
Job Location: US-MD-Baltimore

Overview
The Carpenter Foreman performs basic installation of materials on a construction site.

Responsibilities

Coordinate carpentry tasks according to priorities and plans

Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew

Allocate general and daily responsibilitiesSupervise and train workers

Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

Ensure that all safety precautions and quality standards are met

Resolve problems when they arise

Report on progress to Superintendent

Perform daily carpentry related tasks as required

Qualifications
Experience / Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience managing punch list items between different scopes of work preferred

2+ years experience leading construction crews preferred

Experience with daily reporting and documenting worksite activities preferred

Ability to read blueprint drawings preferred

Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

In-depth understanding of construction principles and procedures

Ability to read construction drawings

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Ability to communicate and report effectively

Strong problem solving skills

Willingness to work in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations

Ability to work in a team environment

OSHA 10 hour certified (will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)

Salary: $30.80-$42.00 per hour plus benefits and retirement program. Salary determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
