The Senior Project Architect is responsible for leading and executing the development of all technical aspects and content for complex medium to large or multiple projects. Working alongside other team members including staff architects and designers, as well as our in-house and external engineering disciplines and consultants, the Senior Project Architect ensures technical and design excellence and quality deliverables during design and documentation, through construction administration.

Generate complex building codes, life safety analyses, and architectural project specifications with minimal oversight.

Collaborate with Project Manager and Architectural Leadership to ensure manpower and staffing needs on assigned projects are met.

Ownership of and alignment with the architectural budget, scope, schedule, and required deliverables on assigned projects.

Attend and participate in client presentations and project meetings when required.

Education, Qualifications and Work Experience

Bachelor of Architecture, or Master's of Architecture from an accredited program, or degree in a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a previous Project Architect role. Experience with projects in the Life Sciences industry is strongly preferred.

Proven track record of successfully delivering architectural projects from concept to completion.

Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of building codes, construction materials, and industry best practices.

Technical proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

Excellent communication skills – including speaking, writing, and graphic communication - is a must! Flexibility to travel (occasionally to moderate, depending on project location).

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
