Job Description Employment Litigation Attorney
A respected mid-sized law firm in Seattle is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney to join its growing labor and employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated employment disputes, counseling employers on workplace matters, and partnering with clients to develop practical legal solutions.

The Employment Litigation Attorney will represent employers in a broad range of workplace disputes and employment-related matters. The ideal candidate will have experience managing litigation from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
Defend employers in state and federal employment litigation matters
Handle claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, leave and accommodation matters, and other workplace disputes
Manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, written discovery, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations
Conduct legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Represent clients in administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC, Washington Human Rights Commission, and Department of Labor
Advise employers on employment law compliance, workplace policies, employee relations, and risk management issues

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2+ years of employment litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling employment law matters on behalf of employers
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
