Instructional Design Professional Job

Akkodis is seeking a for an Instructional Designer at Location: St Petersburg FL, Remote , FL for a contract Duration: 06+Months with potential to convert full-time.
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support a strategic Skills Transformation initiative focused on building organizational capability, enabling adoption of new skills-based processes, and supporting employees, leaders, HR, and business stakeholders through targeted learning solutions.
This role is responsible for designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that help diverse audiences understand new processes, tools, roles, and expectations. Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions, including instructor-led, virtual training, eLearning modules, job aids, quick reference guides, and facilitator/manager toolkits
Translate project requirements, process updates, and system changes into clear, audience-specific learning content
Conduct learning needs analyses to define target audiences, objectives, and appropriate delivery methods
Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to gather input and validate learning materials
Develop structured, multi-modal learning paths tailored to different audience groups
Ensure all content aligns with adult learning principles, change impacts, and business needs
Create scalable, reusable learning assets for broader organizational use
Collaborate with Change Management teams to align training with overall adoption and readiness strategies

5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or corporate training

• Articulate, Rise, Storyline, LMS platforms, video tools, PowerPoint)
• Background in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, HR, Education, Communications, or related field
• Experience designing learning for enterprise transformation, HR/process changes, or digital initiatives
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum design, and evaluation methods
• Ability to simplify complex technical or process-driven content into actionable learning
• Strong stakeholder management and project execution skills
• Experience supporting skills-based talent or workforce transformation initiatives

High-quality, user-friendly learning materials
Strong training participation and completion rates
This role is critical to ensuring that the Skills Transformation initiative is not only implemented but effectively understood, adopted, and sustained. The Instructional Designer will play a key role in translating complex program requirements into practical, scalable learning solutions that enable business success.
