Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in emergency department (ED) care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in an ED setting and will be prepared to take on charge nurse and preceptor roles as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct and indirect patient care while applying the nursing process across all areas of the unit.
Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
Administer intravenous medications, therapies, and blood transfusions as required.
Provide patient education to enhance understanding of their condition and care plan.
Document nursing care actions, observations, patient responses, and educational content provided to patients and families.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting required.
At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience preferred.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
Candidates must not have any hits or actions on their nursing license or background checks.
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the job location.
Additional Information
Orientation may include up to 16 hours of unpaid training.
The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
