Job Description Position Title:Vocational Habilitation Program Manager
Department:Mission Services
Status: Part Time/Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Mission Services
Supervises: Direct Support Professionals, Quality Inspectors, Participants

Position summary: The Vocational Habilitation Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Vocational Habilitation program, including supervising Direct Support Professional(s) and all participants while ensuring production goals are met. All participants present a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities, requiring Individual Service Plans, constant supervision, and frequent communication with the participant’s caregivers and Service and Support Administrators (SSA’s).

Essential functions:
AdministerVocationalHabilitationprogramsforparticipants, includingassistanceindevelopingandmonitoringIndividual Service Plans(ISP)& Paths to Employment.
Participate in case reviews andserve asliaisonbetween program providers, direct carestaffand other support providers.
Provide documentation on program participants to ensure regulatory compliance standards, including CARF standards and reporting, and Developmental Disabilities reports for local,stateand federal agencies.
Offer frequenttrainingforparticipantsto improvejoband life skills.
Monitor andadjustthe work environmentto ensure individualparticipantneeds aremetand that rights and dignity aresafe guarded.
Recommend strategies to improve services,trainingand opportunities for employment and/or toeliminatebarriers forparticipants.
Establishandmaintainproductive and cordialrelationships withstate and local rehabilitative and developmental disabilities agencies to ensure quality service delivery forparticipants.
Represent Goodwill in the social services community; attend meetingswithrehabilitationandresidential service providersandrequiredtraining ;serve as an advocate for people with disabilities in thefour-countyservice area.
Pursue professional career development through continuing education and training opportunities; maintainprofessionalcertifications and licensures for DD program compliance.
Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Attend safetytrainingsand follow all safety procedures and protocols toensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times.
Responsible for other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and required skills:
Non-smokerpreferred.
Experienceworking directly with individuals in the rehabilitative or developmental disabilities field.
Independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities as well as excellent analytical andproblem-solvingskills.
Excellent written,verbaland interpersonalcommunication skills.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to pass a criminal background screen/fingerprint check.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and timekeeping/payroll software.

Education and experience:

• High school diploma or GEDrequired.Bachelor ’s Degree inVocationalRehabilitation, Social Services, SpecialEducationor related fieldpreferred.
• 5years experienceworking withadultswith disabilities or other rehabilitation services.
• 3yearsexperiencein a supervisory role.
• Annual certificationsrequiredin First Aid and CPRand Provider Certificationtraining from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Part-Time - Mon, Weds, Thurs 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Possibility for Tues or Fri work-from-home additional 4 hours administrative work)
