Michele Frances Purvin, LCSW-S, LCDC, LLC & Associates is a group mental health practice serving individuals and families with a range of counseling and therapeutic services. The practice is based in San Marcos, Texas, and focuses on providing compassionate, evidence-informed care in a supportive and professional environment. The LMSW Associate is a 1099 contract, hybrid role based in San Marcos, Texas providing direct mental health services to a diverse client population. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting phone consultations, intake assessments, delivering individual therapy to adults, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and coordinating care with other providers as needed. The LMSW Associate will develop and implement treatment plans, monitor client progress, and adjust interventions based on client feedback and clinical judgment. I offer individual and group clinical supervision, case consultations, and ongoing training to support high-quality, ethical care. The LMSW Associate is expected to uphold confidentiality, adhere to professional and regulatory standards, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.

Licensed Master Social Worker in good standing in the state of Texas.

Pursuing the hourly qualifications for the Clinical Social Work license.

Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or group therapy in an outpatient or similar setting.

Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning abilities, with familiarity in evidence-based interventions.

Ability to maintain accurate electronic health records, manage a caseload, and meet documentation and productivity expectations.

Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and serving clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.

Comfort working independetly and collaboratively in a group practice setting and participating in regular supervision, consultation, and training.

Availability to work full time on-site or off-site which may include some evening or flexible hours based on client needs.
