Overview We are seeking a Merchandising Assistant, Men’s Apparel & Accessories to join our Merchandising Department reporting to the Head of Men’s Merchandising, Brand Partnerships & Special Projects. This role plays a key part in positioning the men’s categories for continued growth while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing, and values-driven workplace.
This position is primarily based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office and follows a hybrid schedule, dependent on role and business needs.
About the role Essential Functions*: Support the Men’s Merchandising team in executing seasonal assortment strategies across key product categories - Men’s Apparel & Accessories.
Assist with maintaining and updating line plans, assortment tools, and merchandising reports
Help track product information including style counts, colorways, pricing, and delivery timing
Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to track and maintain calendar for merchandising deliverables
Assist with data entry and updates within merchandising systems and PLM tools
Maintain buying tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for deadlines, addressing and resolving issues promptly with planning, allocation, and production partners
Compile and prepare materials for line reviews, buy meetings, and cross-functional presentations
Support analysis of selling performance, historical data, and seasonal trends
Help maintain organized digital and physical merchandising files and samples
0-2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, or a related retail role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with PLM systems a plus
Interest in men’s apparel and accessories, retail trends, and product lifecycle management
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to access and navigate various department at the organization's facilities.
