Health Clinic Receptionist

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
Check patients in and out while verifying patient and responsible party demographic information, insurance eligibility, and completion of required pre-visit screenings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records by ensuring current insurance cards are on file and annual registration and Protected Health Information (PHI) forms are completed and signed.
Verify insurance eligibility and Medicaid PCP assignments before appointments.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments following clinic guidelines.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and relay messages to the appropriate staff.
Performing other duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous medical receptionist, clerical, or customer service experience preferred.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday.
Occasional travel between our Fayetteville and Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) clinic locations may be needed to provide coverage and team support.
