Your Opportunity: Taylor Warehousing & Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Worker I to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN facility.
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities: Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash containers, etc.
Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties.
Receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials.
Fill requisitions and orders.
Pack, crate, and ship products and materials to distribution centers, departments, or assembly lines.
May operate forklift equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Your Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends.
You Must Have: Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
Familiar with basic computer operations.
Basic Math and Reading Skills.
Ability to work as a team member and independently.
Requirements within this position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
Frequently move inside the warehouse and production environment.
Regularly move, transport, position, install, or remove materials and products.
Constantly operate warehouse equipment, computers, and other office productivity machinery.
Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
We Would Also Prefer: Prior warehouse experience.
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Forklift experience.
