The Facility Manager oversees the corporate facility’s building structures and systems. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the safety of the building.

Provide constructive and timely performance feedback

Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

Maintain facilities including but not limited to updating seating charts, office signage, maintaining meeting and breakrooms, and HVAC controls administration.

Handle vendor management, invoicing, purchasing, and approvals.

Create an annual budget for Corporate Facilities.

Administer and provide reporting on access control system including maintaining office keying system.

Maintain quarterly building inspection logs.

Run, deliver and analyze various facilities-related reports and metrics.

Workstation and office assignment and reconfiguration.

Travel to other offices (San Diego and Milpitas) for periodic inspections.

Coordinate vendor needs when handling special projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of management

Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Understanding of Building Operating Systems

Willingness and ability to handle emergency calls 24/7

Must be self-motivated, flexible, and energetic, ready to change gears quickly

Ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve objectives and service levels to the highest standards

Excellent planning and decision-making skills

High School diploma or GED-equivalent

3-5 years of experience in facility management

Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods working on a computer (4 to 8 hours)

Ability to operate the equipment used for the job
