Sr Commercial Underwriter Our client is a nationally renowned mutual insurance company that works with specialized coverages that understands the risks that their clients face to protect their day-to-day business. They have over a century of experience providing property and casualty insurance products and services operating in over 40 states. They are looking for a Sr Commercial Underwriter to join their team.

Select, grow and maintain a profitable book of business comprised of small to middle market accounts

Collaborate with marketing representatives to ensure agency receive superior customer service

Coordinate with branch managers and marketing to support the planning and review process

Provide mentorship to less experienced underwriters

Bachelor's preferred, preferably in insurance or business administration

Five years experience in commercial lines underwriting

Insurance designations; Demonstrated leadership qualities

This role is 100% remote, but candidate must reside in North Carolina.
