Estimator/contractor

We are searching for an experienced Estimator specializing in heavy civil projects, particularly roads and bridges, on behalf of our client. Our client is a reputable general contractor specializing in heavy/highway, civil, and industrial construction. If you possess the necessary expertise in estimating for such projects, we would like to hear from you.
Calculate statistical data: Quantity take-offs, material prices, labor costs, and equipment.
Research historical data for estimating guidelines.
Contribute to project update and bid package documents.
Maintain working document files.
Monitor conceptual estimates with actual cost data.
5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution preferred.
- Mandatory knowledge of construction materials and the ability to recognize material designations (e.g., General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing is essential.
- Proficiency in performing mathematical extensions and interpreting engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam and MS Excel.
- Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
