Housekeeper - healthcare (full & Part-time)

Position Summary: Maintains cleanliness of hospital facilities following hospital, departmental, and regulatory agency requirements.Responsible for providing a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

1. Disposes of trash, biomedical and solid waste materials to appropriate disposal areas.
2. Prepares patient rooms for occupancy after patients are discharged.
3. Replaces supplies as needed.
4. Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards.
5. Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Preferred:

Six months housekeeping or maintenance experience.

High school diploma or GED.
