Optometrists / Full-Time

An excellent Optometrist opportunity exists with Summit Health/Westmed Medical Group - a large, progressive, physician-owned, multispecialty practice. We are actively seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our existing group in our Yonkers, NY location. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and experience with contact lens fitting. Some Saturdays will be required with a day off adjustment made during the week. Optometrists will be responsible for providing complete, comprehensive eye exams for all patients. Optometrist provides clinical care services including, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care, preventative and health care maintenance to patients. Optometrist works collaboratively with all providers as a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive, compassionate health care to all patients. Required Qualifications: Active Doctor of Optometry (OD) Optometric license in the state of New York Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team Demonstrated commitment to WMG mission, vision, and values Westchester County, located in the heart of the historic Hudson Valley, is just north of NYC.
