Job Description RN - Registered Nurse - Permanent Employee

Seeking a compassionate and skilled RN for a direct patient care role in a Critical Access Hospital. The position serves a diverse patient population of all ages across various units, including Medical, Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, ER, ICU, Transitional Care, and Behavioral Health.

Perform and document patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, ethnic, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the patient and care team.
Monitor patient status, identify significant changes, and respond quickly to emergencies (e.g., Delegate tasks and supervise nonprofessional staff.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards, including infection control.
Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Complete shift duties efficiently and provide accurate patient reports.
Current Montana RN license, or a compact license.
Previous licensed nursing experience is preferred.
RNs with demonstrated clinical leadership skills may be assigned Charge Nurse duties.
The role may require working nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
