Hotel Housekeeping and Facilities Houseperson

Housekeeping CoordinatorResponsible for coordinating housekeeping operations while maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. This dual-role position serves as a communication link between guests, housekeeping staff, and other departments while ensuring rooms are cleaned and prepared according to company standards to provide an exceptional guest experience.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, prioritize, and dispatch housekeeping requests, work orders, and guest service requests.Coordinate room assignments and communicate task updates to housekeeping staff.Monitor and update room status in the property management system (clean, dirty, inspected, vacant, occupied, and out-of-order).Answer housekeeping phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally and promptly.Communicate with Front Desk, Engineering, Security, and other departments regarding room readiness and guest requests.Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, lost and found items, and service requests.Track completion of assigned tasks and follow up to ensure quality standards are met.Assist with preparing daily housekeeping reports and administrative tasks.Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
