CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Power & Manufacturing - Generation & Energy Management Team at our Boston, MA; At CHA, our Advanced Energy team is at the forefront of transforming the energy landscape. The Senior Mechanical Engineer in this position is required to provide advanced judgment and analysis techniques for the design development and technical analysis of various systems to suit individual client needs. This key role is responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of a project independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff. This person must also be capable of directing junior engineers and leading the day-to-day activity of a small team working on the project. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience is required
Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to practically apply best practices
Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
Experience using Design Builder or similar load modeling software preferred
Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
Proficiency with MS Office software required
Active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
