Key Position Details 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour day shift No weekends

Job Description Provides carpentry skills by constructing, remodeling and maintaining all areas of buildings on campus.

Ensures that work is completed to meet regulatory requirements and timelines.

May read blueprints and estimate materials.

May need to install small equipment, repair equipment and furnishings.

May deal with inventory.

Repairs/Maintains equipment which may include doors, frames and all hardware including locks and key schedules.

May need to perform electrical and general maintenance.

Required Qualifications Vocational or Technical Training in Carpentry OR Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience in hospital or commercial environment

Preferred Qualifications 2 to 5 years of carpentry experience in hospital environment

2 to 5 years of apprenticeship training

2 to 5 years of framing, drywall and basic cabinet making experience

Pay Range Pay Range: $36.94 to $46.73 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
