Warehouse Operator – 116678

Time Type: Full Time

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. They are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and expected to perform all duties as assigned. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Shipping Responsibilities

Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack products or materials. Process all shipping functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.

Use a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack and store product or materials.

Locate and place products in the appropriate storage areas efficiently and accurately.

Picking Responsibilities

Use a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.

Process all picking functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.

Quality Control Responsibilities

Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.

Verify product(s) and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.

Process all quality control functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.

Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the warehouse.

Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards.

Equipment Operation

Operators may use sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master or pallet jack.

Maintain and repair equipment as required; Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.

Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following work methods.

Maintain an active forklift certification.

Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

High school diploma or GED.

6 months experience in logistics/distribution or a relevant environment.

Ability to operate MHE with packaging and labeling experience.

Previous mechanical experience.

Inventory tracking experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills.

Language Skills

English (reading, writing, verbal).

Basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities, counting inventory, or other related duties.

Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.

Capable of staying organized in a fast‑paced environment with multiple moving parts.

1–3 years’ experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.

1–3 years forklift experience.

The work environment is normally low to moderate in noise, with rare exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and no toxic or caustic chemicals.

25.00 – $27.00 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
