Direct Support Professional - Full-Time and Part-Time 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift and Weekends

Job Title Full AND Part Time Direct Support Professionals starting at $18.50/hour up to $20.50/hour for evening, overnight and weekends in complex homes.

Summary Assist Individuals with a disability to lead a self-directed life and contribute to the community. Assist with activities of daily living if needed and encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion.

Essential Job Functions Act as mandated reporter if there is reasonable suspicion to suspect abuse or neglect of Individuals and make all required reports in established timeframes, as required by the NYS Protection of People with Special Needs Act.

Perform and/or assist individuals with personal hygiene tasks as well as performing daily home tasks as needed.

Maintain all required trainings (classroom and online) relevant to the position.

Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalency

Attend mandatory education and training modules as scheduled; obtain and maintain all required certifications/training by State regulations and CDS policy
