Must-Have:

• Management of telemetry
• Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Management of dysrhythmias
• O2 Protocol
• Non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions/PPE
• Peripheral line care/management
• Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone, Nicardipine)

Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in the Intermediate Care Unit.
Patient ratios will be 1:3-4.
Candidates must have 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry/PCU.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend requirements are every other weekend but not guaranteed.
The clinician may float to meet facility needs, including to nearby hospitals.
Travel experience is preferred.
Experience with telemetry is a must.
The intermediate care unit is known for its high standards and exceptional patient care.
Nurses will care for a diverse patient population with various medical diagnoses including heart failure and respiratory issues.
The unit has additional support from interdisciplinary teams for physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Nurses will have the opportunity to engage in a collaborative environment focusing on holistic patient care.
Candidates should be proficient in computerized documentation using an electronic health record system.
