Finance Director
$Our client, a respected nonprofit organization in Kern County, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all accounting and finance operations. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys partnering with executive leadership while remaining hands-on with the organization’s financial health.

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
Present financial results to executive leadership and the Board
Ensure compliance with GAAP, grant requirements, and nonprofit regulations
Manage the annual audit and tax filings
Monitor cash flow and organizational financial performance
Mentor and develop the accounting team
Identify and implement process improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
Experience with budgeting, audits, and financial reporting
