Remote Human Resources HR Rep

Position Summary
The Human Resources Associate provides administrative support to the HR Department, assisting with various HR functions including recruitment, employee records management, and handling HR-related inquiries.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Required to follow dress code policies of any alternative work locations, including but not limited to schools, jails, courts, detention centers, other community partners, etc.
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, reference checks and conducting background checks
Coordinate onboarding and training sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
Conduct data entry and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
Assist in organizing training and development programs for staff.
Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all HR activities.
Help organize HR-related events, such as recognition programs, workshops, etc.
Assist with HR audits as needed.
Assist with employment verifications.
Assist in the development of new job descriptions and updating existing job descriptions.
Assist HR Director with special projects and assignments as needed.
Assist with credentialing and related tasks
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Credential and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field, or an associate’s degree
Pass pre-employment background checks, and State of Kansas Adult/Child
One to two years’ experience in the HR field, or any similar experience combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Proficiency in data entry and HR administrative tasks
Detail oriented, high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Working Conditions
Office setting with occasional remote work options.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds.
