Medical Assistant

Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our residents' healthcare needs. Assist healthcare providers with patient charting, documentation, and medical record management

• Support residents with daily health assessments and basic medical procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked and sanitized
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding medical information
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
• Monitor residents health status and report any changes or concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required

• Proven experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation standards
