Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will perform a variety of parts and product inspections to ensure they meet company and customer requirements. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming sub out parts, documenting inspection results, and creating reports for customers.

Perform parts and product inspections to meet company and customer standards.

Inspect incoming sub out parts.

Document inspection results through written records or photos.

Gather data and create reports for customers.

Communicate quality discrepancies to shop supervisors.

Maintain material certifications and inspection documentation.

Maintain calibration control for all IMTE inventory.

Perform inspections to ISO standards.

Notify management of need for Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).

Assist with the sub out process by requesting purchase orders, tagging, and documenting counts.

Label nonconforming parts.

An associate degree in Quality Control Technology or 3+ years of proven inspection experience.

Minimum 2+ years of experience as an inspector in a close tolerance, custom metal manufacturing business.

Experience in a metal forming, machining, or welding environment is preferred.

Knowledge of metals and raw materials, production processes, quality control, and manufacturing costs is advantageous.

General machining and welding knowledge is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.
