As our HVAC Estimator, you are the person who sees the whole picture first. You review the plans, spot the gaps, ask the smart questions, and build a bid that is tight, competitive, and executable. You are not just pricing equipment and labor. You are setting the tone for the entire project. You will work on a mix of commercial and residential projects, from homes to rooftops, collaborating with leadership and operations to make sure what we sell is exactly what we can deliver. Responsibilities of the Job

Review proposal specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine project scope and estimating requirements

Attend pre-bid meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, and project review sessions

Develop conceptual and final estimates for complex commercial and residential projects

Perform computerized quantity take-offs and detailed pricing

Incorporate historical cost data, productivity metrics, and subcontractor pricing into estimates

Ensure all documentation supports estimate figures and assumptions

Review final estimate packages for completeness and accuracy prior to submission

Participate in bid preparation and bid‑day activities

Track awarded contracts, including pricing change orders and additional work

Maintain and update estimating cost databases

Collaborate with Project Executives and Project Managers on schedules, fees, and strategy

Provide pricing handoff to Operations following project award

Support estimating for RTU installation projects

Collaborate closely with leadership and ownership to provide value engineering and recommendations

Attend project meetings and site visits as required

Support continuous improvement of estimating processes

Qualifications for the Job

Minimum 5-8 years of estimating experience

Experience with commercial construction projects

Strong math, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Demonstrated project management and leadership experience

Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications

Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs

Familiarity with RTU installations

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000+ annually (commensurate with experience)
