OverviewColliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Bridges & Structures Project Manager to join our Infrastructure division in New York! Our Bridges & Structures team is a highly skilled professional group conducting business across New York and into the New England region. We provide a full range of structural engineering services from scoping, planning, preliminary through final design, and construction for highway, pedestrian, rail bridge and culvert projects in addition to contractor engineering services. ResponsibilitiesEnsure the success of the bridge projects under their management.Handle all aspects of a project lifecycle from identification, pursuit, contracting, design development and construction phase support. Business development including client marketing, proposal preparation, and attend relevant technical, professional, and political networking events. Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.Monitor project costs to ensure that projects are delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering is required; 10+ years of bridge design/management experience is required.Established business network with New York State bridge owners such as NYSDOT, NYS Thruway Authority, Municipal clients and contractors.Prior experience and understanding of AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and the Federal-Aid project delivery process.Ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality.
