Fairfield Cty hospital is seeking a laborist to join their team. Can do either 12 hr or 24 hr shifts for a full time role. Competitive salary with full benefits, including PTO provided!

Job Function:

Full-time ObGyn Hospitalist Physician opportunity
Provide care and oversight for patients presenting to Labor & Delivery or the Emergency Department, including clinic patients and those without an assigned or retained private physician
Serve as attending of record for laboring patients admitted from the clinic and when requested by community physicians
Provide consultation and inpatient coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients across all hospital services
Perform emergent gynecologic surgeries and act as backup support for midwives
Support medical staff utilization management, clinical effectiveness initiatives, and enhance quality and safety of inpatient care
Schedule options: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month (mix of days and nights, 7A-7P / 7P-7A, no call) or 7 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
Job Requirements:

Must be BC in OBGYN.
Need a CT license.
