HR Manager | Aerospace Manufacturing | Salem, OR Area

A multinational aerospace manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function at a 700+ employee, non-union manufacturing facility in the Salem, Oregon area.

This is a highly visible HR leadership position overseeing a team of approximately three HR Generalists while partnering closely with site leadership and employees across all aspects of HR. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR leader who enjoys being engaged with employees and operations while also providing strategic guidance to plant leadership.

Lead the HR function for a 700+ employee manufacturing operation

Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately three HR Generalists

Serve as a strategic HR business partner to the General Manager and site leadership

Oversee recruiting, retention, workforce planning, and talent development

Lead employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution

Develop and implement supervisor and management development programs

Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational development initiatives

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Oversee compensation, benefits, HRIS, time and attendance, and related HR processes

Monitor HR metrics including turnover, headcount, engagement, and talent pipeline

Develop and implement HR processes that improve efficiency and employee experience

Support training initiatives and organizational development plans

Build strong relationships with employees throughout the manufacturing operation

Partner with corporate HR and community organizations on talent and workforce initiatives

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience

Experience leading HR in a large manufacturing environment

Proven experience managing and developing HR professionals

Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge

Experience with recruiting, retention, performance management, compensation, and organizational development

Strong communication, conflict management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Aerospace, metals, foundry, or other complex manufacturing experience is a plus

Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
