UNDERGRADUATE RECRUITER (TEMPORARY)

StaffSource is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates with our clients. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a goal-driven environment while providing exceptional service to both candidates and clients.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in helping clients find top talent while ensuring candidates have a positive and professional experience throughout the hiring process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Source, recruit, and screen candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions.

Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to evaluate qualifications, skills, and experience.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates.

Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and other sourcing methods to identify top talent.

Match qualified candidates with client job opportunities based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.

Present qualified candidates to clients and provide detailed candidate profiles.

Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment activities as needed.

Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients.

Maintain accurate candidate records and activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Meet or exceed recruiting, placement, and performance goals.

Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and community networking opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting technologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Staffing agency recruiting experience.

Experience recruiting for administrative, clerical, industrial, skilled trades, manufacturing, healthcare, or professional positions.

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM systems.

Bilingual abilities are a plus.
