Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to function as a visiting nurse in our home health program. This position provides in-home care to home-bound patients by following doctor's orders. Monday-Friday scheduling; generous paid holidays, vacation & sick-time; use of county vehicle when providing home-health agency services; employee wellness program & free use of well-equipped county-owned exercise facility (for those with county health insurance). Consistently strong customer satisfaction (above state/national levels) make this an ideal agency from which to deliver quality home-based care.
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Special Requirement: Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing and a valid NCDL.
