Fennemore has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our San Diego, California office. This full-time, hybrid role offers the chance to work on complex commercial litigation cases. The ideal candidate will support attorneys with case management, discovery, pleadings, legal research, trial preparation, and client communications. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team handling high-level litigation matters.

Assisting attorneys with complex commercial litigation matters.

Collecting, organizing, and managing case evidence and other materials, including electronic databases.

Reviewing, coding, organizing, and preparing document productions.

Drafting pleadings, other court papers, and discovery documents for attorney use.

Collecting and maintaining key document collections and witness material.

Researching court procedures, related case materials, and investigation materials regarding cases, witnesses, and experts.

Electronic court filing (state and federal) and preparation of materials for filing.

Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or a combination of experience and education as defined by California Business and Professions Code §6450.

Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience with a strong trial and eDiscovery background in a law firm or in-house environment.

Knowledge of civil litigation rules and procedures, including those regarding court filings.

Basic knowledge of eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, DISCO, or EverLaw.

Superior organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several projects to completion by a deadline.

Proficiency in the standard collection of Microsoft Office applications.
