Managing Director | Talent Solutions | Vaco Charlotte Position Summary:
As a Tax Accountant, you will support the Tax & Treasury Manager in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, assisting with filings, and contributing to core treasury functions. This role offers exposure to both domestic and international tax processes, as well as foundational treasury operations, providing a great opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 60% in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities:
Tax Support: Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax filings, including sales & use and property tax
Help gather and organize data for corporate income tax and international filings
Support research into tax law changes and help maintain internal compliance documentation
Participate in the preparation of tax provision schedules (ASC 740) under the guidance of senior staff
Assist with transfer pricing documentation and audit support
Treasury Support: Help monitor daily cash activity and prepare cash reports
Assist with bank account reconciliations and support working capital tracking
Support internal reporting of debt, investments, and liquidity metrics
Help coordinate with banks for document requests or basic service needs
General and Cross-Functional: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and external advisors to support tax and treasury initiatives
Maintain accurate records and assist in the creation of process documentation
Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
0-2 years of accounting, tax, or treasury experience (internship/co-op experience a plus)
Strong interest in corporate tax and treasury operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with SAP or ONESOURCE a plus
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Must be able to work in-office at least 60% of the time
