Psychiatrist Position at La Clinica de Familia
For over 40 years, we have provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Our mission statement definitely speaks to what La Clinica de Familia stands for, which is to empower and enrich families, individuals, and communities by providing quality medical, dental, behavioral health and educational service for people of all cultures.
Provides direct psychiatric care, delivery of quality service and positive interaction with patient. Provides direct supervision to psychiatrists. Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners as well as residents.
Experience in serving underserved populations and rural areas
Administrative experience
Experience in community health
May be exposed to infectious or contagious diseases
May be exposed to risk of Blood Borne diseases Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching.
Education/Training:
Graduated from an accredited medical school.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver's license, and current car insurance.
Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing
