Part Time Primary Care Clinic Registered Nurse

Registered NurseWe are currently accepting applications to fill six Registered Nurse vacancies in County of Santa Barbara Health. We have two Full-Time openings at the Lompoc Health Center, one Full-Time opening at the Santa Maria Health Center, one Full-Time opening at the Santa Barbara Health Center, one Full-Time opening at the Franklin Health Center in Santa Barbara, and one Part-Time (72 hours weekly) opening at the Franklin Health Center in Santa Barbara. The County classification title is Staff Nurse.Under direction, provides professional nursing services and is responsible for the operational activities of primary care and/or specialty care clinics or services; one or more years of nursing experience in OB-GYN, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Ambulatory Care (however, motivated new graduates and candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply); the ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced clinical or administrative environment; experience using EPIC or similar electronic health record systems; the ability to delegate tasks appropriately and prioritize patient care; familiarity with federally funded programs such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, CPSP, and Every Woman Counts; bilingual or medical Spanish skills; Selectees for employment must, as a condition of employment, sign a statement agreeing to comply with Section 11166 of the California Penal Code relating to child abuse, elder/dependent adult abuse, and physical violence abuse reporting.
