Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Transactional Attorney in Glendale, CA. The successful candidate will lead efforts in negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising complex settlement agreements in class action matters, seeking court approval of settlements, and collaborating with class action administrators to ensure proper administration.
Duties
Negotiate, draft, review, and revise various contracts, including class action settlement agreements.
Negotiate, draft, review, and revise class action notices, claim forms, and related documents.
Negotiate, draft, review, and revise motions for approval of class action settlements.
Monitor class action administrators to ensure compliance with court instructions.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California or pending admission to the California bar.
- 5+ years of experience in relevant legal fields.
- Positive attitude and interest in joining a collaborative team.
- Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
California Bar admission or pending admission.
Skills
Detail-oriented and collaborative.
Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
Commitment to helping those who have experienced workplace injustice.
